Our Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Foundational Training is an immersive program that provides the practical skills and knowledge towards your journey of safely and ethically incorporating ketamine into your practice. Our experienced clinicians provide comprehensive didactic training, live demos, case presentations, a Ketamine session if meeting medical criteria, and ongoing support, ensuring that you have the tools and guidance necessary to provide the highest quality care to your clients.
Approved for 32 Hours of Continuing Educations Units through the Minnesota Board of Social Work. Approved for 16.75 Hours of Continuing Educations Units through the Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy which includes 2.75 hours of Ethics. Approved for 16.75 Hours of Continuing Educations Units through the Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy and for LPC’s, LPCC’s, and LADC’s

*Participants will have the opportunity to experience ketamine
assisted psychotherapy if they meet medical criteria
Itinerary
After the 4 day foundational training, participants will be able to:
- Describe the history of ketamine assisted psychotherapy
- Understand scientific foundations and key research in Ketamine Therapy
- Be able to educate patients about KAP
- Recognize what symptoms and diagnoses KAP is helpful in treating as well as contraindications in KAP
- Be able to facilitate the preparation process
- Learn about the subjective experience of ketamine by participating in an Intramuscular Ketamine Session*
- Develop first hand experience in the therapist role for KAP
- Obtain tools to facilitate the integration process
- Gain first hand experience through dyad practice
- Discern how to navigate transference and countertransference during KAP
- Learn 3 ways of navigating urgent and emergent situations
- Describe at least 3 ethical situations that may arise of KAP treatment
*KAP session offered to those who meet medical qualifications
